Peacock's Pantry Privacy Policy  

Peacock's Pantry corporation (“Company”, “us”, “our” or “we”) respects your privacy and works hard to protect your personal information. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) governs your use of: (i) our website, located at: www.peacockspantry.net and operated by the Company (“Website”); (ii) the mobile application software, developed and owned by Quick Check Ltd., for an on-line payment solution via an iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry (“Application”); and (iii) any related services thereto (“Services”). Throughout this Privacy Policy, we will refer to Website, Application and Services together with any software, data, information or other material contained in or accessible via the Website and/or the Application and/or the Services, collectively as “Peacock's Pantry”.


By browsing, accessing and/or using any part of Peacock's Pantry, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. Please note, this Privacy Policy does not apply to information we collect by other means than your use of Peacock's Pantry (including offline) or from other sources.


1.1. The Information We Collect


1.1.1. Personal Information. When you register for your Account (whether directly through the Application and/or through any other application or software which is incorporating Peacock's Pantry) and/or use Peacock's Pantry, we collect personally identifiable information about you, ONLY if you voluntarily choose to provide it yourself. Such information may include (for example) your: name, email address, area of interest, address, phone number, and any other related information (“Personal Information”)., including information relating to your shopping preferences, e.g. the items purchased at certain business, average purchase price, favorite items (including per certain Merchant) and other identifiable information relating to your shopping preferences (“Personal Information”).


1.1.2. Anonymous Information. When you use Peacock's Pantry, we may gather anonymous information such as your account transactions, device location, and sometimes information about your computer or access device. This information does not personally identify you but may be helpful for us to improve Peacock's Pantry (“Anonymous Information”).


1.2. How We Collect the Information


1.2.1. Cookies. This site uses cookies – small text files that are placed on your machine to help the site provide a better user experience. 1.3.1. We may use non-personally identifiable information of you in order to improve the quality of Peacock's Pantry and customize your user experience.


1.3.2. We may use certain information about you, without identifying you as an individual to third parties, for purposes such as analyzing how Peacock's Pantry is used, diagnosing service or technical problems, maintaining security, and personalizing content.


1.3.3. We use cookies and log file information to: (a) remember information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the Website; (b) provide custom, personalized content and information; (c) monitor the effectiveness of Peacock's Pantry; (d) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors and traffic; (e) diagnose or fix technology problems reported by our users or engineers that are associated with certain IP addresses; and (f) help you efficiently access your information after you sign in.


1.3.4. Personal Information collected may be used to provide users with further information and updates with regards to Peacock's Pantry, as well as sending you marketing messages relating to Peacock's Pantry that may be of interest to you. We may do this electronically, for example by email, text or messages through the Application or on the Website or by telephone or by post. You may tell us at any time if you do not wish to receive marketing message from us by contacting us at peacockspantryfoods@gmail.com  or by following any instructions we may include in the message we send to you. For example, a STOP message will appear at the foot of marketing text or email messages we send you.


1.4. Sharing Personal Information


1.4.1. In the event that a user adheres to the terms of use of any specific Customer Club or Customer Loyalty Program by a Merchant, then it shall be deemed an approval to share such user’s Personal Information gathered by Peacock's Pantry with a Merchant running such a Customer Club or Customer Loyalty Program. 


1.4.2. We may share your Personal Information with the following: other companies within the Company and our relationship partners; companies and organizations who provide a service to us or are acting as our agents (including their sub-contractors), on the understanding that they will keep the information confidential; companies and organizations that assist us in processing transactions made via Peacock's Pantry (including but not limited to payment processing service providers); Merchants, if compliant with applicable data protection laws and only with information relating to the purchases conducted by you from such Merchants; anyone to whom we transfer or may transfer our rights and duties under the Terms of Use (as defined below) and/or this Privacy Policy; e) this agreement; any third party as a result of any restructure, sale or acquisition of any company within Peacock's Pantry, provided that any recipient uses your information for the same purposes as it was originally supplied to us and/or used by us.


Law enforcement authorities or government representatives who may require us to share information in order to comply with court order and other legal mandates, or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to report suspicious activities, prevent physical harm, financial loss, or violations of our agreements and policies.


Other third parties, subject to your prior consent or direction.


1.4.3. If we transfer your information in accordance with Section ‎1.4.2 (b) above to a person, office, branch or organization located in another country, we will make sure that they agree to apply the same levels of protection as we are required to apply to your information and, where appropriate, to use your information strictly in accordance with our instructions.


1.4.4. Except as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy, Company will not disclose Personal Information to any third party unless required to do so by law or if we believe that such action is necessary to (a) conform to the law, comply with legal process served on us or our affiliates, or investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities; (b) to enforce our Agreement, take precautions against liability, to investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, to assist government enforcement agencies, or to protect the security or integrity of our Website; and (c) to exercise or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of the Company, our users or others.


1.4.5. If false or inaccurate information is provided or fraud is suspected, details may be passed to fraud prevention and credit reference agencies. Law enforcement agencies may access and use this information. The information recorded by fraud prevention agencies may be accessed and used by organizations in the US and in other countries.


1.4.6. We will retain information about you after your registration for Peacock's Pantry is cancelled, or if your application is declined or abandoned, for as long as permitted for legal, regulatory, fraud and other financial crime prevention and legitimate business purposes.


1.5. Compromise of Personal Information. In the event that personal information is compromised as a result of a breach of security, Company will promptly notify those persons whose personal information has been compromised, by email notice, or as otherwise required by applicable law.


1.6. Your Choices About Your Information.


1.6.1. You may, of course, decline to submit personally identifiable information through Peacock's Pantry, in which case Company may not be able to provide certain services to you. You may update or correct your Account information at any time by logging in to your Account. You can review and correct the information about you that Company keeps on file by contacting us as described below.


1.7. Children Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance. Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. For that reason, and without derogating from the provision of Section 1.5 in the terms of use of Peacock's Pantry (the “Terms of Use”) restricting the use of Peacock's Pantry by users under the age of 18 years, Company does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register with Peacock's Pantry. If you are under 13, please do not send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 13 is allowed to provide any personal information to the Company. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us as described below.


1.8. Links to Other Websites. Company is not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Website, nor the information or content contained therein. Please remember that when you use a link to go from our Website to another website, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect. Your browsing and interaction on any other website, including those that have a link on our Website, is subject to that website’s own rules and policies. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Updates or amendments to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to periodically amend or revise the Privacy Policy; material changes will be effective immediately upon the display of the revised Privacy policy.
